Yelp.com is becoming a reputation management issue for many businesses. One question we get a lot at Reputation Armor is “Can you remove my company from yelp.com”. In short the answer is, no you can not delete the yelp.com page about your business completely. It is rare for yelp.com to remove a business completely from their website.
So what is the solution?
The only true solution to dealing with negative Yelp reviews is to try and increase your positive reviews with Yelp (Which they sometimes prevent from happening), or bury the Yelp links about your company deep within search results so people do not see the negative reviews easily when they search for your company.

It takes time to repair an online reputation, and sometimes it takes more time. There is not guarantee on how long a reputation management campaign will take before negative links are buried on Google about you. It takes a lot of time for Google to make permanent changes to their search results. Sure, you will see results quickly, as in new information and links hitting the first 2 pages of Google about you that are positive.
For some of these new links to become a permanent fixture and rank above a negative entry about you may take some time. A new link about you may take a few weeks to climb and anchor above a complaint link. In some cases a new link may rank high for a few days and then fade away, and then come back again. This is a normal process that a lot of people are confused about.
Each new link that we want to position above a complaint link like rip off report, must be promoted aggressively using search engine optimization techniques, these techniques take time to set-in.
Remember search engine reputation management can not be rushed and there is no way to make the process happen faster, no matter what your budget. If we were to slam Google with hundreds or thousands of pages of content about you overnight, it will not help; in fact in some cases it can be harmful. Slowly dripping new content and seo content in to Google will repair your reputation faster and make it a permanent solution.
Be patient and wait for the process to take effect, there is no fast way to make the situation better. We are not saying you will have to wait years or even months. In most cases a complaint link will be buried and remain buried after 6-8 weeks. There are some tough cases that take 6 months, but it is rare.

Do not file a rebuttal on rip off report!
By filing a rebuttal on ripoffreport.com you will be making the complaint page about you more relevant and strong in Google’s eyes. The more a page is updated and the more content (text) a page has on it, the stronger it will rank on Google.
Most people’s first instinct is to tell their side of a story and explain why something is not true, in this case that first instinct may hurt you in the long-run.
The only time we recommend filing a rebuttal on rip off report is if you have no intentions of following through with a campaign to bury the link. If you plan on letting the ripoffreport.com link rank high on Google forever, then a rebuttal will not hurt.
